Confirm the media and the fit
Pleating places a larger area of filter media within a compact element. The useful area in operation also depends on whether dust can release from the pleats during cleaning.
We review the media, pleat arrangement, end caps and sealing details together. A cartridge that has the right outside dimensions can still be unsuitable if its gasket, mounting or cleaning behaviour differs from the original requirement.
Media options
Polyester and cellulose are options for suitable duties. PPS or aramid media can be reviewed for specified applications, subject to the construction and operating limits of the complete cartridge.
Tell us about moisture, abrasive particles, chemical exposure and any electrical or fire-safety requirements. These details affect selection. The end caps, adhesive, gasket and support structure must also be suitable for the duty.

Specification and documentation
We confirm the complete element specification and agreed checks before production. Where a filtration efficiency or particle rating is required, share the test method and duty so the requirement can be reviewed.
Any comparison with an existing brand or part number is subject to confirmed dimensions and performance requirements.
When cartridges block or fail early
Tell us how quickly pressure rises, whether the dust releases during cleaning and where damage or leakage appears. Include photographs of the used cartridge and its mounting.
We review whether to repeat the specification, propose a defined change or request more information. A larger stated media area is not automatically an improvement if the pleats become difficult to clean.

Send a drawing, datasheet or photographs showing both ends and the mounting. Include quantity and destination. For recurring problems, add operating details and the current service life so we can review the replacement properly.
We confirm the production and dispatch schedule against the selected construction and availability. Export transit is additional.
Frequently Asked Questions
We can assess the requirement from the part number and supporting drawing or specification. Compatibility needs confirmation of the mounting, seal, dimensions and operating performance. A part number alone may not contain all of that information.
No. Closely spaced pleats can be difficult to clean with some dusts. The selection should consider usable area, airflow and dust release in the existing collector.
Suitability depends on the media and the complete construction. Moisture can change dust behaviour and damage unsuitable materials. Share the actual exposure, including condensation or washing, before selecting a cartridge.
A pleated shape does not establish a HEPA classification. If your application requires HEPA performance, state the class and test requirements so a suitable product and supporting documentation can be assessed separately.
Only if the selected construction is designed for that cleaning method. Media, adhesive, end caps and seals all need to tolerate it. Request cleaning guidance for the specific element.
Send photographs of the media, end-cap bond and gasket, along with operating and cleaning details. Leakage can come from damaged media or an imperfect seal; the replacement decision should address the actual cause.
